Here’s a fresh single from Colorado based musician, Mesita (a.k.a James Cooley).  The track is off his upcoming album, Future Proof, which will be released early 2013. “Hostages” is a “song about feeling frozen, paranoid, and absolutely scared of yourself.”  Mesita repeatedly sings, “ Don’t say a word, and nobody gets hurt. Nobody gets hurt. Nobody gets hurt.” The track is frenetic at times, full of sporadic drums, distant keys and kinetics.  I’m  excited to hear more from this fellow in 2013!
