London three piece Teleman are set to release new single ‘Cristina’ on January 14th via Moshi Moshi. After my first listen, I couldn’t help thinking that this was a Pete & the Pirates track. After doing a bit of research, I discovered that Pete & The Pirates don’t actually exist anymore. Oops, how did I miss out on that news? Anyhow, Teleman is made up of former pirate trio; Thomas Sanders, Jonny Sanders and Pete Cattermoul. ’Cristina’ is the band’s curtain raiser; opening slowly and adding hazy bits of keyboards and a simple drum beat before ending and leaving you in a blissful state of  pop goodness. Not bad for their first single… I can’t wait to hear more from the lads!
