lt’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from Kisses since they released their disco-tinged album, The Heart of Nightlife, two years ago. So I’m super happy to be listening to some new stuff! The LA-based duo, consisting of Priceton’s Jesse Kivel and fashion blogger Zinzi Edmunson, makes tropical and dreamy indie pop that’s simply irresistible. If you like Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura, Yeasayer, Tanlines, Body Language, etc….then you’ll love Kisses. Check out the band’s new track, “Funny Heartbeat,” which recalls a 1970s French pop vibe.
