ON AN ON [Ghosts]

Although ON AN ON are set to release their debut album, Give In, on Roll Call Records on 1/29/13, Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing are no strangers to playing music together. They were former members of the indie-pop band, Scattered Trees, and they hail from both Chicago and Minneapolis. Recorded in Toronto, Give In, brought in legendary producer Dave Newfeld of Broken Social Scene ,whose influence is very prevalent on “Ghosts”, the album’s first release.  BSS  has always been great driving music (you know…windows down/radio loud/interstate driving), and “Ghosts” certainly is too. I have no doubt that you are going to dig this rolling and, at places, haunting ballad. Check it out.

Saw On and On back in December after I had read about them here and just saw them open for Jessie Ware last weekend – really great!! Love that they’re from the Midwest too – I’m from Chicago and that’s where I saw em :)
